March 5 is the presidential primary. Polls are open until 8 p.m. If you need to update your voter registration or register to vote, you can do so at your polling place. Find your polling place and more information.


Watch your mailbox: Spring tax statements and value notices arriving soon

Property tax statements and valuation notices will be mailed to Ramsey County property owners in mid-March.

Tax statements show the amount of taxes and when they are due. The mailing also includes information about refund programs through the state. Read more.

This initiative is funded by the DHS Opioid Epidemic Response Advisory Council (OERAC) grant through 2024; and with Syringe Services Program funding.

Opioid Response Community Grants

Application extended until March 18

The Opioid Response Community Grants application is now open until March 18. Up to $1,000,000 in grants are available for community-led organizations whose work addresses the opioid crisis and focuses on the county's priority areas, which include:

  • Pregnant people, parents and babies: Four grants up to $55,000 each will be awarded.
  • Culturally-specific approaches for treatment and recovery: Four grants up to $55,000 each will be awarded.
  • Health education, awareness and outreach focused on prevention: Four grants up to $50,000 each will be awarded.
  • Treatment and support for people involved in the justice system: Four grants up to $40,000 each will be awarded in this priority area.
  • Education and engagement with young people: Four grants up to $50,000
