Public Hearing on 2024-25 Proposed Budget and Tax Levy

A Dec. 6 hearing of the proposed budget and tax levy.

Community is welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting to provide feedback on the proposed 2024-25 budget and property tax levy prior to the budget and tax levy being approved by the board on Dec. 12

All Ramsey County community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Ramsey County breaks ground on new Environmental Service Center

Ramsey County marked an important milestone on our community's path toward a more sustainable future today with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Environmental Service Center. The 30,530 square-foot will look to be completed in 2025. More information located here.


Unveiling of County COVID Plaque

Ramsey County Board of Commissioners, County Manager Ryan O'Connor and Chief Human Resources Officer Dr. Annie Porbeni came together for the unveiling of a commemorative plaque symbolizing the strength and unity that carried us through the challenges of the COVID era.


Operation Green Light and Ramsey County

Five Ramsey County-owned buildings were recently illuminated green as part of Operation Green Light, a nationwide initiative to let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated and supported.

Operation Green Light's mission is to show support for veterans of all military conflicts, as well as raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by many veterans (and their families) and the resources that are available at the county, state, and federal level to assist veterans and their families. #OperationGreenLight

It was great to speak with the Ramsey County Progressive Fellows. They are getting experience in various county functions over the course of the year for future employment opportunities.


President's Visit to Minnesota

Earlier this month I attended the President's event in Northfield. It was a great chance to hear about this administration's investments agriculture and ag-tech in Minnesota. A great opportunity to represent our county interests!


Community Connections - Roseville Area Optimists Club

It was great to hear leadership lessons from Bill Doherty at a recent Roseville Area Optimists Club, joined with founding club member and former county commissioner, Don Salverda. The Optimists Club welcomes new members and more information can be found here


Roseville Wild Rice Festival

Had an awesome time at the Roseville Wild Rice Festival. A fun celebration of wild rice, the fall season, and Dakota and Ojibwe culture right here in district 2!


Community Spotlight - Keystone

Keystone Community Services Director of Director of Development & Community Engagement Jen Winterfeldt presented at the Roseville Area Rotary Club. They have over 80 years of serving Ramsey County with senior care, enrichment for children, basic needs and crisis assistance. To learn more about their work.
