It’s been the greatest honor of my life to represent my community on the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners. Many changes in my life, in the community and the world at large during these past few years made it challenging for me to commit to campaigning and serving another four-year term. Although I will not be seeking reelection, I will be forever grateful for this experience.
I have enjoyed serving my community since winning the 2019 special election for the seat, and I am immensely proud of the board initiatives I have been part of during my term. My work is not done. I intend to complete the term I was elected for through the end of 2024 and make sure District 1 remains represented in county decisions.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I look forward to continued work and positive change together as I carry out my term in 2024.
Thank you to all of the election judges for their service and congratulations to all of the candidates who were successful in their elections last week!

I enjoyed attending the annual Once Upon a Time gala, a fundraiser for the Landmark Center. You can learn more about the Center and upcoming events here.

I joined Ramsey County colleagues at the Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation's annual dinner, where we heard from Xcel Energy's regional VP about building a carbon-free future and celebrated community award winners.

At their meeting earlier today the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners declared November 12 through November 18, 2023 as Infant Safe Sleep Week in Ramsey County.
Parents, families, childcare providers, and hospitals can engage in safe sleep practices by practicing the ABC’s of safe sleep which include (A)lone: infants should always sleep or nap alone, (B)ack: always put a baby on their back to sleep or nap, and (C)rib: babies should always sleep or nap in their own safety-approved crib or bassinet without blankets or pillows.
