I had a great time at the grand reopening of Northeast Youth and Family Services' White Bear Lake location! I'm proud to be a board member of this organization and appreciate the services they provide to members of our community.
I stopped by CAPRW's Fall Festival last week to celebrate the important and impactful work that CAPRW does in Ramsey and Washington counties.
Highlight of the week - volunteering at the Tamarack Trick or Treat event last weekend!
The Rice Creek Commons open house is TONIGHT from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Ramsey County Public Works Facility in Arden Hills. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.
Informational stations will be set up with visuals and related materials for attendees to explore, learn and ask questions about the different components of Rice Creek Commons. City and county staff and project partners will be available to answer questions and provide detailed information on various topics, including:
- Current and proposed development plans
- Land use and zoning for the site
- Housing and homeownership opportunities
- Parks, trails and open spaces
- Renewable and sustainable energy vision
- Bicycle and pedestrian improvements
- Traffic, roadway and infrastructure planning
- Environmental safety and cleanup
- Commercial development and business opportunities
Brief presentations will be held at 6 and 7 p.m. to ground attendees in the overall vision for Rice Creek Commons and outline how the project intends to move forward.
All Ramsey County community members are encouraged to attend; and while it is optional, please let us know whether you plan to be there. This will help determine room capacity and allow for adjustments as needed. RSVP today!
Join me for a discussion about property taxes. Learn more about how they're calculated, what they're spent on, and more.
This event will take place from 6 to 7 pm on November 8th. Please RSVP via the Facebook event, which includes the Microsoft Teams link for the meeting. Hope to see you there! |
