Are you interested in having a look at the former Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant, the site for the future development named Rice Creek Commons?
The District 1 office, with support from Ramsey County, is hosting an event on Saturday, August 13th from 1-4pm to give residents a chance to ask questions, learn about the County's goals and vision, and take a van tour of the actual property.
Join Commissioner Frethem, Ramsey County staff from parks, public works, and community and economic development, and community partners to learn more about all the opportunities this project presents. Partners include:
- Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce
- St. Paul Area Association of Realtors
- Met Council
- Sierra Club North
- Housing Justice Center
- Center for Economic Inclusion
- Evergreen Energy
Please sign up for a 30 minute time slot using this link to reserve your spot on the tour. You can attend outside this time slot but those who reserved a ticket will have priority for a spot in the public works vehicle to see the property.
You will have an opportunity to ask questions from partners, staff, and Commissioner Frethem and share your feedback and priorities for the development. |
