July is Minority Mental Health Month
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate based on gender, race, religion, and other socioeconomic factors. Anyone can experience depression, anxiety, substance use, PTSD, and other behavioral health conditions. However, racial and ethnic minority populations continue to find it more difficult to access and receive quality mental healthcare.
