Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak updates
Ramsey County government remains open and we are committed to providing services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic while protecting the health of residents and our staff.
COVID-19 testing locations are available throughout the Twin Cities. Use the state of Minnesota self-screening tool or talk to your health care provider to determine if you need to be tested.
County swimming beaches and playgrounds will open July 2, aligning with state and federal health guidelines. Lake Owasso County Park and the Discovery Hollow Nature Play Area at Tamarack Nature Center remain closed due to construction. All beaches will be unguarded and signs will provide visitors with guidance.
Restrooms at high-traffic park locations are open and will be cleaned daily. Portable toilets have been set up at locations where restrooms have not reopened yet.
Both children and adults are encouraged to wear a mask at playgrounds and at beaches when not in the water. If a park is busy and you cannot maintain social distance, please visit another location or return at another time.
Voting by mail is a safe, easy and convenient way to cast your ballot. All eligible voters in Ramsey County can vote by mail in the Aug. 11 state primary and the Nov. 3 general election; you do not need to provide a reason to vote by mail.
You can also cast an absentee ballot in person at one of three locations before Election Day.

New public art blossoms at two county sites in Roseville
Roseville in Bloom is a free public art event featuring 20 larger-than-life rose statues uniquely decorated and embellished by 20 local and regional artists.
Two roses will be displayed at county sites: "Color & Culture" by Shakun Maheshwari (pictured at left) is on display at Lake McCarrons County Park and "Painting the Roses Red" by Kimberly McCracken is on display outside of the Ramsey County Library in Roseville.
