Ramsey County Library offers free computer access by appointment at the libraries in Maplewood, Roseville and Shoreview. Appointments are for computer use only. Call the individual library to make a two-hour appointment for the current day or next day.

Basic computer and technology help is available over the phone on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon - 2 p.m. Call 651-724-6001 and press 2 to schedule your half-hour telephone appointment. Call a library location during open hours to speak with a reference librarian for help with downloading e-books, e-audiobooks and other library e-resources.

Curbside pickup of holds and printed material is available at all Ramsey County Library locations. Please call ahead to schedule a pickup as hours vary by location.

Virtual activities from Tamarack Nature Center
Join Tamarack Nature Center during a creature feature on Friday, June 19. Meet and learn about painted and a Blanding’s turtles. Ask a naturalist anything you’ve ever wondered about turtles. Free virtual programming continues throughout the summer. In-person programs are canceled through the end of August.
Community testing continues
COVID-19 testing for people living in the communities impacted by recent large gatherings in the Twin Cities continues next week. The free testing is organized by the Minnesota Department of Health, no insurance is required, and you do not have to have symptoms to be tested. Thousands of people have taken advantage of the free testing.

Appointments are strongly recommended. 11 a.m. to noon is reserved for members of our community who were unable to reserve appointments. Check your temperature accurately
Translated resources are available with instructions on how to accurately take your temperature. PDF flyers are available in: English, Español, Hmoob, Karen, Afaan Oromoo and Soomaali.
Pandemic-electronic benefit transfer (P-EBT)
Families who received free or reduced-price school meals in the 2019-2020 school year or attended a school that offers free school meals to all students are eligible for P-EBT. This temporary program provides a one-time payment of $325 per child to families to replace benefits they would otherwise have received during the school year. A hotline for P-EBT questions is available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 651-431-4050 or 800-657-3698. Using this service will not impact your immigration status or count as a public charge.

Recovery and rebuilding town hall
Business representatives, community organizations, property owners and residents are invited to join a virtual town hall on June 23 to share feedback and input with county and city staff on how government can best help communities rebuild following the response to George Floyd's death.
We want to listen to concerns and needs from:
- Businesses, community organizations and property owners who had property damaged.
- Residents of neighborhoods that experienced damage.
Hosted by the Racial Equity and Community Engagement Response Team in partnership with the city of Saint Paul.
Coalition matches small businesses to community resources; seeks private sector support
A broad alliance of Twin Cities counties, chambers of commerce, community development agencies and other partners are building a local support network to help small businesses survive and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges facing our small business community.
The Business4Business Minneapolis-Saint Paul (B4B MSP) coalition will connect small businesses with local resources from public agencies and private sector partners, including technical and financial assistance to provide immediate relief.

Economic competitiveness and inclusion plan
Throughout 2020, Ramsey County has been leading the development of a comprehensive economic development strategy centered around equitable growth and strengthening economic competitiveness. This work will lead to a plan that guides the county's economic and community development objectives over the next decade.
All of the plan’s recommendations are shaped through a lens of equity and will be informed by extensive community engagement. Please feel free to share this information with your networks.
