Preliminary work will begin next week on County Road C, Larpenteur Avenue and Lexington Avenue.

Work will begin next week on Larpenteur Avenue between Malvern Street and Snelling Avenue.
The project will involve surface repairs of the concrete pavement, signal upgrades and sign replacements.
The traffic signal at Eustis Street will be upgraded with new LED bulbs and pedestrian countdown timers. The signals at Gortner and Fairview avenues will be upgraded with new LED bulbs and new flashing left turn lights.
Temporary lane closures or shifts will be in place during construction. During signal work, temporary all-way stops will be in place. Only one signal will be under construction at a time.
Eastbound lane closure May 31 - June 3
Eastbound Larpenteur Avenue will be closed between Fairview and Snelling avenues May 31 - June 3 for unrelated utility work.
County Road C between New Brighton Boulevard and Long Lake Road will be reconstructed this summer.
Work will begin May 28 on temporary signals, and crews will begin removing the existing road the week of June 3.
As part of the project, a new paved trail will be constructed along the south side of the road.
Lane closures and shifts will be in place during construction. Business access will be maintained throughout the project.
Work will begin next week to update the pedestrian ramps on Lexington Avenue between County Road C2 and County Road E.
Resurfacing work will take place later in the summer.
Work began this week to upgrade pedestrian ramps on Silver Lake Road between County Road D and I-694. The road will be resurfaced later this summer.
The City of Saint Anthony Village is reconstructing the storm sewer near Silver Lake Road between 39th Avenue and Silver Lane. Current lane closure and detour information is available on the city's project webpage.
Construction is underway on Xcel Energy's Northeast Metro Natural Gas Project, which involves replacing natural gas pipeline along Century Avenue and County Road B/South Avenue in 2019.

The city of White Bear Lake is repairing a trail along White Bear Avenue between South Shore Boulevard and Highway 61. The project is underway and is expected to be done by the end of the month.
The City of Saint Paul is constructing a sidewalk along Larpenteur Avenue between Galiter and Rice streets. Work is underway and is expected to last through early June.
A community meeting will be held June 11 to share information about the planned resurfacing of Long Lake Road between the Rice Creek Bridge and County Road H2 in 2019.
As part of the project, the road will be restriped to add bike lanes. Parking will be removed on the west side of the roadway between County Road H and County Road H2.
