The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners today approved the 2019 Supplemental Budget of $738,118,609.
Ramsey County uses a two-year budgeting process. 2019 is the supplemental year of the 2018-2019 budget. The budget includes a 4.3 percent increase to the property tax levy in 2019, which remains unchanged from the 2018-2019 budget that commissioners approved on December 12, 2017.
The approved 2019 supplemental budget includes $318,839 in administrative adjustments made since the proposed budget was presented to commissioners by the Ramsey County Manager on August 7, 2018. These adjustments are due mostly to new grant funding.
