Oct. 8 is Find Foster Families Day

More than 9,900 children are in foster care on any given day in Minnesota. Gov. Mark Dayton has declared Monday, Oct. 8 as Find Foster Families Day to raise awareness for the growing need of loving foster families.

Foster parents who open their hearts and homes to support children in crisis play a vital role in providing safe, strong foundations for children.
