County endorses modern streetcar for Riverview Corridor
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners voted June 19 to endorse modern streetcars running on West 7th Street in Saint Paul for the Riverview Corridor.
The corridor is a 12-mile transportation connection between downtown Saint Paul, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America in Bloomington and neighborhoods between.
Project staff will now begin the process of environmental review, design and engineering. Construction may begin as soon as 2028.

 Union Depot is now home to the Union Depot Bar & Grill, a new restaurant in the historic Head House that features innovative twists on American cuisine.
The Bar & Grill opened on June 27 and offers full lunch and dinner service, as well as grab-and-go offerings. Brunch service may be added in the future, as well as outdoor seating on the east end of the North Plaza during warm weather months. Read more
