'Tis the Season for Knowing

Winter Parking Rules

LauderdalePlease remember that cars must be off the streets after 2” of snow and remain off for 48 hours or until the streets are plowed curb to curb after the snow subsides.
If snow is expected overnight, please find a place for your car before you head to bed (otherwise your car may be "snowed in").  Ramsey County snowplows are usually in the City by 4:00 a.m.

Temporary off-street parking is available at the city park parking lot off of Roselawn and Fulham.

Little Canada - The City’s snow plowing policy states that streets will be plowed after a snowfall event of two inches or more. For accumulations less than two inches, a decision is made based on road conditions and the weather forecast.

Parking is prohibited on City streets between 2 AM and 6 AM, from November 1 until April 1.  The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department tickets illegally parked cars during snow emergencies, and failure to move the vehicle could result in the vehicle being towed.

Mounds ViewNo person shall park or permit to be parked any vehicle within any block on any public street when, within the preceding forty eight (48) hours, melting or blowing snow or a combination thereof has accumulated to a depth of three inches (3”) or more at street level anywhere within that block. Provided, however, that parking shall be permitted within any block of any public street where not otherwise prohibited whenever the entire length of the roadway of such block has been cleared of snow from curb to curb or, in the case of streets without curbs, between the outer edges of the shoulders of such streets.

New Brighton - No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle on any street or roadway after a snowfall of at least three inches. Parking may be resumed on the streets or roadways after the snow has been removed or plowed to the curb line.

Roseville - Interested in finding out when Roseville's snowplows are about to roll this winter? Roseville residents and businesses can sign up to find out.

Individuals who sign up will receive email or text alerts with information about when the city will begin snowplowing.

Roseville does not declare snow emergencies. Instead, the city enforces an on-street parking ban once two inches of snow has fallen within 48 hours. It doesn’t have to finish snowing for the parking ban to take effect. The ban remains in effect until both sides of the street have been plowed. Vehicles parked on the street in Roseville could be ticketed or towed.

St. Anthony No person shall park a vehicle on any city street for a period of 48 hours, commencing immediately after 2 inches or more of continuous snowfall, or until snow removal has been completed curb to curb.
