Dementia Caregiving Re-Entry
The dementia caregiving journey can be long, all-consuming and isolating. In the end, care partners often struggle with questions of how to move forward in life once they are no longer caring for a loved one.
The Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D) invites caregivers to join others who are walking the same path. They are launching a new initiative to help people re-energize and reintegrate their lives.
Keynote Speaker Connie Goldman, award-winning public radio producer and reporter and author of “The Gifts of Caregiving,” will help caregivers answer tough questions about after the dementia caregiving journey ends. Family members and caregivers will learn how to rediscover themselves and how to move forward. Join us for the free discussion on Thursday, September 29, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Dr. Roseville.
Presented by Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team in partnership with the Roseville Area Senior Program, the City of Roseville and the Ramsey County Library. RSVL A/D is a group of residents, businesses and government volunteers formed in 2013 to increase awareness, education and support to help those dealing with dementia. Elections workers needed for presidential elections
Serve your community and promote the democratic process!
You can earn money, meet your neighbors and help ensure that elections are administered fairly, openly and honestly.
The Ramsey County Elections office needs to assign about 100 more election judges to work in Saint Paul polling places on November 8. Although applicants of all kinds are welcomed, the most acute needs are for judges that have special qualifications, such as language skills in Hmong or Somali, or affiliation with either the Republican Party or one of the minor parties, such as Independence, Green, or Libertarian. Judges must attend a paid training.
