Bring your toddler to Tamarack for an adventure! We'll read a nature-themed story together, then head out into nature to see what we can find!

Dates: Fridays - July 29, August 5  & August 12

Time: 9:15 – 10:30 a.m.
Fee: $29.25 adult and child; $19.50 additional adult; $9.75 additional child
Ages: 2-5 with an adult partner

Backyard Bunch

Join us on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for Backyard Bunch!

Dates: August 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 & 18
Time: 9:30 a.m. - noon
Fee: $20 per day
Ages: 3-5 and potty-trained

Open-ended nature play for kids in our Early Learning Center's backyard play area. Themes include "Sticks & Stones," "Ready or MUD, Here I Come," and "Puddle Jumpers." Perfect for busy families!

Drop-in Discovery Stations

Drop-In Discovery Stations are free, family-friendly drop-in style programs feature a range of nature topics, including up-close visits with live animals!

Time: 10:00 a.m. - noon

Fee: Free - no pre-registration required.

Help us tend the gardens at Tamarack! We'll weed, plant, water and harvest! Garden staff will be on-hand to answer questions so come ready to learn and get your hands dirty!


Meet the Gardener

Date: Mondays, August 1, 8,15, 22, 29
Time: 10:15 - 11 a.m.

Fee: Free- no registration required.


Visitors can come meet our gardeners and learn the surprising ways that plants grow and bloom! Have fun helping us plant, tend and taste the harvest. Topics vary weekly.
