Ramsey County’s new website - www.ramseycounty.us - launched today. The reinvented site features an improved responsive design and navigation for desktop, tablets and mobile devices.
An event calendar, robust site search, expanded interactive mapping and streamlined online job application portal are among the new features. All content has been updated to provide a contemporary and accessible online user experience aligned with plain language guidelines.
A 90-second video tour on the county's YouTube channel introduces the site to users.

In the fall, a site prototype was tested for accessibility and usability by a range of people living and working in Ramsey County, as well as visually impaired users. Feedback from these focus groups was incorporated into the final site design.
Visitors are encouraged to comment via the website feedback form.
The county's previous web address - www.co.ramsey.mn.us - will continue to direct users to the new site. That site's most popular pages were re-mapped to content at ramseycounty.us to provide seamless user access.
