Project Update
The Frick’s Garden Reconstruction Project is now complete. Minor punch list and warranty work may continue as needed. The project website will remain active for several more weeks and is expected to be removed within the next few months.
Reminder about Sod
Sod installed as part of the project will be maintained by the contractor for the first 30 days only. At the end of this 30-day period, City staff inspected the sod and directed the contractor to replace any dead areas as necessary.
After the initial 30 days, all sod maintenance and care become the responsibility of the property owner. Neither the contractor nor the City will be responsible for replacing dead sod once maintenance responsibility has transferred to the property owner.
When mowing new sod, maintain a minimum grass height of 3.5 inches. Please note that it may take several growing seasons for the new sod to become fully established and match the hardiness of the existing lawn.
