 Chankahda Trail Project - Construction Update
Stage 3A – April 6th through July
Stage 3A
Chankahda Trail is closed between Yucca Lane and Northwest Boulevard. This section of Chankahda Trail will reopen in late July when Stage 3B construction begins. Below is a summary of construction activities for this week and a preview of planned work for next week.
Week of May 18
- Storm sewer and watermain construction
- Grading of the roadway base
Week of May 25
- No work on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25th)
- Continued grading of the roadway base
Week of June 1
- Watermain construction begins beneath the Highway 494 bridge
- Construction of the roadway base
