 Station 73 TRIP project resumes March 30, closures begin
The Station 73 TRIP project resumes Monday, March 30, including work south of Highway 55 along County Road 73, Old County Road 15, and Zachary Lane, as well as work north of Highway 55 along South Shore Drive and 10th Avenue.
Highway 55 will remain open throughout 2026.
Roadway closure south of Highway 55 along County Road 73, Old County Road 15, and Zachary Lane begins March 30 and is expected to last until the fall. During the closure, the detour route will follow Highway 55, Highway 169, Interstate 394, and Zachary Lane. A second detour route will follow Sunset Trail, Xenium Lane, County Road 6, and Highway 55. Access to local businesses and residents will be maintained throughout the project.
Construction on roadways north of Highway 55 is anticipated to begin later in April.
As a reminder, County Road 73 south of the Old County Road 15 intersection closed on Monday, March 23 to allow CenterPoint Energy to relocate a gas main in preparation for the project. The closure is expected to last through Friday, March 27. The detour for this closure includes Zachary Lane/Hopkins Crossroad, Wayzata Boulevard, Shelard Parkway, Nathan Lane, and Old County Road 15.
