 Station 73 TRIP project set to resume, County Road 73 closure March 23-27
In preparation for upcoming construction of the Station 73 TRIP project, County Road 73 will be closed south of the Old County Road 15 intersection beginning Monday, March 23 to allow CenterPoint Energy to relocate a gas main. The closure is expected to last through Friday, March 27.
The detour route includes Zachary Lane/Hopkins Crossroad, Wayzata Boulevard, Shelard Parkway, Nathan Lane, and Old County Road 15.
Work on the second year of the Station 73 TRIP project will resume Monday, March 30, including work south of Highway 55 along County Road 73, Old County Road 15, and Zachary Lane.
Highway 55 will remain open throughout 2026, though roadway closures south of Highway 55 along County Road 73, Old County Road 15, and Zachary Lane will begin Monday, March 30. Construction north of Highway 55 is expected to begin later in April.
