 Project Updates
On February 19, bids for the Construction General Contractor were received, with the Apparent Low Bidder being Veit & Company, Inc.
City Council scheduled a Public Hearing to take place on the 24th day of March 2026, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. At this meeting, the City Council will consider ordering the improvement, adopting the assessments, and awarding the contract for the work related to the street project.
The City Council has adopted an assessment policy that assesses adjacent, benefiting property owners a portion of the cost of the improvement. A letter will be mailed several weeks prior to the Public Hearing to these benefiting property owners including information about the hearing and the recommended assessment.
Assuming the project is approved by the City Council, a pre-construction meeting will then be scheduled with the City’s Construction General Contractor in April/May. The Contractor will share their Estimated Schedule at this time. Once the City Staff have reviewed and approved the Estimated Schedule, it will be shared with the public.
