 Phase 3 Chankahda Trail Project Update
Stage 1B
Road Closures - Chankahda Trail is closed from Niagara Lane to Dallas Lane. Niagara Lane is closed from Chankahda Trail to 59th Avenue. These roads will be re-opened in late October. (View the attached map for closure details.)
Below is a summary of construction activities for this week and a preview of planned work for next week. Please note schedules are subject to weather conditions. Email updates will continue to keep you informed.
This Week - Week of October 20
- Work continues on the traffic signal installation at Cheshire Parkway
- Topsoil placement and seeding are in progress
- Concrete pedestrian ramp construction continues
- Paving is scheduled for Saturday, October 25
Looking Ahead - Week of October 27
- Traffic signal work will continue at Cheshire Parkway
- Street paving will be completed
- Pavement markings and street sign installation will begin
