Spotlight: Tim Gronberg
We’re spotlighting Plymouth resident and Farmers Market musician Tim Gronberg, who brought his musical talents to the market earlier this month. In addition to playing guitar, Tim enjoys singing a variety of genres including original songs co-written with his oldest daughter.
For the past two summers, Tim has been a familiar face at the market, where he likes to scout out sourdough bread (his wife’s favorite), jalepeno cheddar cheese and rhubarb, among other favorites.
Originally from Connecticut, Tim comes from a musical family and he began to play guitar in his teens. During his working years, music took a back seat to a full-time career and raising five children. Now, this father and grandfather is using time afforded to him in retirement to focus on his music.
He has enjoyed performing at other venues, including open mic nights and senior living facilities and he appreciates the opportunity to play at the market. He plans to perform again at next year’s market in 2026.
