 Phase 3 Chankahda Trail Project Update
Stage 1A – Vicksburg Lane to Niagara Lane
Construction is underway, and Chankahda Trail between Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane is currently closed. The project team anticipates reopening this section in early August. Once the section between Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane reopens, Chankahda Trail between Niagara Lane and Cheshire Lane will close. View the detour and staging map.
Below is a summary of construction activities for this week and a preview of planned work for next week. Please note schedules are subject to weather conditions. Email updates will continue to keep you informed.
This Week : Week of July 21
- Concrete curb, gutter, and pedestrian ramp installation
- Construction of roadway and trail base
Looking Ahead : Week of July 28
- Fencing installation
- Construction of base pavement layers
- Topsoil and seed will be installed
