Vendor Spotlight: Veterans Farming Initiative
Plymouth welcomes Veterans Farming Initiative as a new vendor to the 2025 Farmers Market lineup. Veterans Farming Initiative grows and sells organic foods, teaches sustainable farming techniques and offers educational and healing programs on their 23-acre farm in Montrose.
The mission of Veterans Farming Initiative is to help heal veterans, their communities and the environment through adaptive restoration and agriculture. Their agriculture-related programs help veterans and their families reduce stress, promote healing and enhance physical and spiritual health. All proceeds from sales of their products are reinvested to improve farming operations, veteran-centered programming, and community outreach opportunities.
Shoppers can visit the Veterans Farming Initiative booth each week at the Plymouth Farmers Market.
Products: variety cuts of pork, lamb, goat, beef, whole duck, goose, rabbit, quail, eggs (chicken, duck, quail, goose), elderberry products (juice, cordial, syrup, jelly), fire cider, living micro greens, vanilla extract and vanilla sugar.

Reminders while at the market: Animals are not allowed, with the exception of service dogs. The market begins promptly at 2 p.m. and no early purchases are allowed. Some vendors offer credit card payments, but please bring cash for those who do not.
SNAP/EBT Program
Shoppers who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can use their EBT cards at the City Market booth to purchase tokens, which can then be used to purchase eligible items from participating vendors.
