Heroes Wanted: Become a part-time/on-call firefighter
The Plymouth Fire Department is hiring paid part-time/on-call firefighters – and interested community members are encouraged to apply by June 29.
The position is designed to be flexible to accommodate parents with children and those working full-time jobs. No experience is needed, and paid training and schooling is provided.
Firefighter recruitment meetings are set for 6:30 p.m. Thursdays, June 5 and June 12 at Plymouth Fire Station 2. Prospective applicants are encouraged to attend one of the meetings to speak with firefighters and ask questions. Learn more about becoming a firefighter at plymouthmn.gov/firefighter.
Plymouth Farmers Market
The Plymouth Farmers Market returns to Parkers Lake Playfield every Wednesday, June 18 through Oct. 1. The market features a variety of vendors who sell fresh, locally grown produce and prepared food.

Hilde Nights Concert Series
Plymouth’s free outdoor concert series continues with a variety of musical genres Friday evenings throughout the summer with the following lineup:

June 20 – The Fabulous Armadillos will take the stage to cover songs from fan-favorite genres – country, Motown, heavy metal, ‘70s soft rock and more.

July 11 – Rival 5 performs ‘70s and ‘80s hits, followed by The Hype which performs hits from bands Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith.

Aug. 15 – Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show
