 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project Update
Below is a summary of construction activities for this week and a preview of planned work for next week. Please note that schedules may shift due to weather. Weekly updates will continue to keep you informed.
This Week - Week of May 12
Mission Area:
- Spot curb and gutter removal and replacement
- Continued private utility relocations
- Replacement of damaged city utilities such as water valves
- Water outage expected for some properties – see details below
Seven Greens/Silverthorne Area:
- Continued private utility relocations
6th Avenue:
- Asphalt and curb removal
- Continued private utility relocations
- Temporary mailboxes are located on Sycamore Lane (south of 6th Avenue)
Next Week - Week of May 19
Mission Area:
- Pouring of new concrete curb and gutter (see note below)
- Continued private utility relocations

Additional Information
Water Outage Notice – Mission and 6th Avenue Areas
Some properties in the Mission and 6th Avenue areas will experience a 6-8 hour water outage during utility replacement work. Affected residents will receive a paper notice with additional details and anticipated outage times for each property.
Note about Newly Poured Concrete
Newly poured concrete curb and gutter should not be driven on for 7 days. Residents in the Mission and 6th Avenue areas are allowed to park on the street if needed during this time.
