 Frick's Garden Reconstruction Project
This Week - Week of April 28
Install of the temporary water system is nearly complete on 13th Avenue and Kimberly Lane. The four watermain connections on County Road 101 will be completed.
-
Water outage expected: There will be a 6-8-hour window of water outage when the contractor makes the four connections to County Road 101. Paper notices will be handed out with additional details and anticipated outage times for each property. The contractor will need to shut down the intersection while connecting the watermain to County Road 101, however, at least two of the four intersections will always remain open to County Road 101.
-
Temporary Water System on 13th Avenue and Kimberly Lane: Residents will experience a 10-30 minute shutdown while a temporary water system is connected to the home. A construction representative may need to enter the home to verify the connection is correct. The contractor will be notifying homeowners prior to connecting to the temporary water system.
Install of the new watermain will begin on 13th Avenue. The water services will be installed once the watermain is completed on 13th Avenue.
-
Water outage expected: About a dozen residents near 12th Avenue and Peony Lane will experience a 1-2-hour shutdown when the watermain on 12th Avenue and Peony Lane is cut and camped (to be removed in phase 4 of the project). Paper notices will be handed out with additional details and anticipated outage times for each property.
Week of May 5
Water service removal and replacement continues on 13th Avenue. Additionally, the sewer installation on Kimberly Lane will begin.
This timeline is subject to weather conditions. Updates will be provided approximately once a week moving forward.
