 36th Avenue Rehabilitation Project Update
Phase 1 of the 36th Avenue Rehabilitation Project is underway. The roadway is closed from Zachary Lane/East Medicine Lake Boulevard to the east entrance of Robbinsdale Armstrong High School through mid-summer.
Local access is available via Wellington Lane (north-south crossing at 36th Avenue).

This Week (Week of April 21)
- Tree, fence, curb and pavement removals began.
- Private utility work, including utility pole relocations, is underway.
Upcoming Work – Week of April 28
Curb and pavement removals, as well as private utility work continues; retaining wall installation on the south side of 36th Avenue will begin.
- Private utility work will extend from the east entrance of Robbinsdale Armstrong High School to Highway 169. This portion of 36th Avenue will remain open to traffic.
Water outage expected: Watermain work will begin and properties in the area should expect water outages from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during this work.
- A city representative will notify all impacted properties with a handout at least 24 hours prior to the planned shutdown.
