April 9 Phase 3 Chankahda Trail Project Update

The City Council awarded the construction contract for Phase 3 of the Chankahda Trail Reconstruction Project at its April 8th meeting. Construction is anticipated to begin later this spring and will take place over the 2025 and 2026 construction seasons.

Work scheduled for the 2025 construction season includes the segment of Chankahda Trail from Vicksburg Lane to Cheshire Parkway. Preliminary phasing and detour route information is available on the project webpage. Additional schedule information will be shared prior to the start of work once it becomes available.
