 Sept. 6 Construction Update
The contractor paved the northbound lanes of Plymouth Blvd. from 37th Avenue to Rockford Road. The road base construction for the southbound lanes between Rockford Road and 37th Avenue, including the 37th Avenue intersection, began this week. Concrete installation is taking place at the intersection of 35th Avenue. Storm sewer installation is occurring in the southbound lanes of Plymouth Blvd. from 34th Avenue (by the post office) to Highway 55.
Week of Sept. 9
Traffic will shift to the southbound lanes between 34th Avenue (City Hall) and Highway 55 to allow the contractor to install storm sewer in the northbound lanes. Curb and gutter will be installed at the 36th Avenue and 37th Avenue roundabouts, and on the southbound lanes of Plymouth Blvd. from Rockford Road to 37th Avenue. Utility installation will continue in the northbound lanes between Highway 55 and 34th Avenue (by City Hall).
