General Notes for All Project Areas
Please turn off irrigation zones near the street while the contractor is working on curb removal/replacement.
Newly poured curb takes 7 days to harden and should not be driven on during this time. Owners should park on the street and have cars out of the construction area during the working day.
The city’s construction inspector, Moe Omer, will be onsite regularly during construction and is available to answer questions. His contact information is momer@plymouthmn.gov or 763-509-5529.
Mapledell City crews have begun paving. Paving should be completed next week or the first week of September.
Heritage/Medicine Lake Highlands The contractor has completed paving this neighborhood (excluding Rosewood Lane). The contractor will be finishing punch list and warranty items over the next few weeks.
Rosewood Lane, south of 34th Avenue, was base paved on August 22; the contractor will let this road settle for a few weeks. Patches of settled asphalt will be replaced prior to the final layer of pavement installation.
Westridge Estates/Forster Preserve The contractor plans to finish gravel grading the trail with the goal of paving the trail the week of August 26.
Nathan Lane, Schmidt Lake Road, 45th Avenue, Highway 169 Service Drive The contractor is planning to do nighttime utility infrastructure work along Schmidt Lake Road the week of August 26. All affected properties will be notified in advance.
Also the week of August 26, the contractor plans to remove the existing asphalt, recompact and spread the gravel, and repave the first layer of asphalt along Schmidt Lake Road.
