General Notes for All Project Areas
Please turn off irrigation zones near the street while the contractor is working on curb removal/replacement.
Newly poured curb takes 7 days to harden and should not be driven on during this time. Owners should park on the street and have cars out of the construction area during the working day.

Mapledell
Milling operations to remove 2 inches of asphalt are anticipated for the week of August 5.
Heritage/Medicine Lake Highlands
The contractor may need to finish their milling operation (removing 2 inches of asphalt) on Saturday, Aug. 3 if they do not finish this operation today.
The contractor plans to pave 37th Avenue the early week of August 5.
Rosewood Lane, south of 34th Avenue, was ready to pave on July 29. Unfortunately, an unknown water source continues to saturate the soils in the road. The city has used leak detection equipment as well as manually dug holes looking for a leak in the drinking water infrastructure. No leaks were found. Additional soil correction was also conducted within the road to try and improve compaction. Unfortunately, we are still finding excessive amounts of water in soils within this road section. The city is asking that all homeowners adjacent to this roadway, as well as the homeowners on 34th Avenue between Rosewood Lane and Northwest Boulevard, turn off their irrigation systems adjacent to the road and direct their sump pumps away from the road. Hopefully, this additional action, along with some help from mother nature, will allow the road to sufficiently dry to the point that we can pave it.
Westridge Estates/Forster Preserve
Minor utility work is underway within the residential streets along Old Rockford Road (week of July 29). Curb removal and replacement is also planned for this neighborhood next week (week of Aug. 5).
Nathan Lane, Schmidt Lake Road, 45th Avenue, Highway 169 Service Drive The contractor is planning overnight water infrastructure work on Schmidt Lake Road the week of August 5. Several businesses will be affected and will be without water service overnight. All affected properties will be notified in advance.
