Construction Update July 26 - All Timelines Are Weather Dependent
 General Notes for All Project Areas
Please turn off irrigation zones near the street while the contractor is working on curb removal/replacement.
Newly poured curb takes 7 days to harden and should not be driven on during this time. Owners should park on the street and have cars out of the construction area during the working day.
The city’s construction inspector, Moe Omer, will be onsite regularly during construction and is available to answer questions. His contact information is momer@plymouthmn.gov or (763) 509-5529.
Mapledell
The contractor will be finalizing curb work, irrigation repair, and restoration the week of July 29. Milling operations to remove 2 inches of asphalt are anticipated for the week of August 5.
There was an unexpected watermain break on July 23. The break is repaired, but a leaking valve was discovered near 26th Avenue and Black Oaks Lane. The city plans to replace the valve on July 29, and several homes will be without water. City staff will be notifying these homeowners with details of the water shut-off.
Heritage/Medicine Lake Highlands
The contractor will be finalizing curb work, irrigation repair, and restoration the week of July 29. Additionally, the contractor plans to reconstruct the gravel section of the road where the sanitary sewer work was done and mill (remove 2 inches of asphalt) all other streets in the project area.
Westridge Estates/Forster Preserve
The contractor will be grading the gravel on 42nd Avenue on July 27 in preparation for paving during the middle of next week (week of July 29).
Minor utility work is planned within the residential streets along Old Rockford Road the week of July 29. Curb removal and replacement is also planned for this neighborhood next week.
Nathan Lane, Schmidt Lake Road, 45th Avenue, Hwy 169 Service Drive
The contractor will be grading the gravel on Nathan Lane, between 45th Avenue and Schmidt Lake Road, early next week (week of July 29) in preparation for paving the middle of the week.
