Construction Update July 12 - All Timelines Are Weather Dependent
Mapledell
The contractor plans to pour new curb the week of July 15. The contractor will also need to shut water off to several homes to conduct some utility work in the street. Affected homes will receive a notice in their door with more details.
Heritage/Medicine Lake Highlands
The contractor may still be working on utility work in 37th Avenue early the week of July 15. Once the contractor finishes the utility work on 37th Avenue they will move to the utility work on Rosewood Lane, likely July 16 or 17. Please use alternate routes to access your property while this utility work is in progress. Additionally, please note that all construction timelines are weather dependent and subject to delays.
The contractor also plans to begin removing and replacing the curb and gutter marked with paint the week of July 15.
Westridge Estates/Forster Preserve
The contractor has removed the pavement on 42nd Avenue and is working on construction of the trail and curb on Old Rockford Road between Larch Lane and French Park.
Minor utility work is planned on Old Rockford Road near Zackary Lane near the end of the week of July 15.
Nathan Lane, Schmidt Lake Road, 45th Avenue, Hwy 169 Service Drive
The contractor is planning to remove asphalt on Nathan Lane (between 45th Avenue and Schmidt Lake Road) July 13 and repave this section on July 18. The contractor also plans to begin work on the new retaining wall on the south side of Schmidt Lake Road near the 169 ramps. The eastbound lane closest to the Holiday gas station will be closed. One eastbound lane and the two westbound lanes on Schmidt Lake Road will remain open for the retaining wall construction.
