 Birchwood Estates Reconstruction Project Update
Please note, all dates are weather dependent and subject to change. See the phasing map in the May Construction Guide for phasing illustration.
Phase A1
The contractor is nearly done with the utility work in phase A1. The week of July 15, the contractor will start reconstructing the road gravel on Comstock Lane. It is possible that curb will be installed near the end of the week in all of Phase A1. A notice with exact dates will be placed in your door once the timeline for curb is better known. Newly poured curb takes 7 days to harden and should not be driven on during this time. Owners should park on the street and have cars out of the construction area during the working day. The contractor will be posting No Parking signs to indicate locations where parking is prohibited.
Phase A2
The contractor plans to cut homes over to the temporary water system on July 15. On July 16, the contractor plans to remove the asphalt in phase A2. Utility work is anticipated the for the remainder of the week.
