Group Spotlight: 55+ Needle Arts
The 55+ Needle Arts Group is welcoming new members! Needle Arts meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., at the Plymouth Community Center (PCC). Work on your own projects in an inviting, well-lit and spacious social setting. Coffee and tea included in annual membership.
Beginners through experts welcome. Cross stich, needlepoint, crochet, quilting, knitting, you name it... all needle art creators welcome! Bring your own supplies and materials. Invite your friends to join you, or make new ones. Check it out, first visit to this and any 55+ group at the PCC is free to try!

2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays The 2024 Plymouth Farmers Market kicked off on June 26 and runs through October 2 at the Parkers Lake Playfield, 15500 County Road 6, Plymouth.

Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD): The Other Dementia
Wednesday, July 17 10:30-11:30am Learn about a less common type of dementia that can impact people at a younger age. Hear about resources and strategies to support people impacted by FTD.

55+ Monthly Movie Matinees Enjoy an afternoon going to a free movie in the Blackbox Theater. Popcorn and water provided, or bring your own beverage with a lid. Registration required.

Caregiver Support Groups
In-person: 3rd Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. Online: 2nd Tuesdays, 4:30-6 p.m. If you assist a loved one, friend or neighbor in anyway, you are a caregiver. Receive support and feel heard. Dementia and other chronic conditions are typically discussed. Led by a licensed social worker. Free, ages 18+.

Visit the Open Arts Studio group's display at the Art Gallery at the Plymouth Community Center (PCC). Show runs through July 26. The 55+ Open Arts Studio group meets every Friday at the PCC, 9-11:30 a.m., new members welcome!

Strengthen major muscle groups, especially core muscles to improve stability and mobility at Strength, Balance and Flexibility, Tuesdays, 7/16-8/27, 10-11 a.m.
New to exercise or looking to switch up your routine? Try Barre, a full body workout for anyone, including beginners. Mondays, 7/8-8/26, 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Beat the heat at the indoor pool! Visit the Aquatics page to view upcoming swimming programs for all ages at East Middle School. Many options including open swimming, private lessons and group classes.

Plymouth Metrolink Click-and-Ride offers $3 rides, seven days a week: Riders can book on-demand shuttles through the free Click-and-Ride app. The Click-and-Ride app is available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Passengers who would like to request rides by phone may do so by calling 763-559-5057.
