 Birchwood Estates Reconstruction Project Update
The city’s contractor, Ryan Contracting, is scheduled to begin work in the neighborhood on Monday, June 10th.

Phases A1, A2, and C
Tree removals are planned to start on June 10.
Phase A1
Driveway removals will begin in Phase A1 on June 10. Homeowners will have access on gravel once your driveway is removed. Mailboxes will be removed and salvaged near the house/garage. Temporary mailboxes will be located in the cul-de-sac at the intersection of Weston Lane and 5th Avenue.
Pavement removal (reclaiming) within Phase A1 is anticipated to be on Tuesday, June 11. Parking within this phase should only be in your driveway. No on-street parking adjacent to your property will be allowed starting on this date and until construction is completed in this phase. Vehicles parked on the street within this phase must be removed by 7 a.m. on June 11, but it is preferred that no vehicles are parked on the street starting at 7 a.m. on June 10, to allow space for tree removal work to begin. Any vehicles left in the street in Phase 1 at 7 a.m. on June 11 may be towed if the project team cannot contact the vehicle owner to move the vehicle in a timely manner.
Vehicles can be parked on the street in any of the project phases that are not being worked on. However, parking is restricted to the odd-numbered side of the street to allow for traffic to navigate the roadway.
Utility work within Phase A1 is anticipated to start the week of June 17.
