Chankahda Trail Reconstruction Update - Nov. 22

The contractor for Phase 2 of the Chankahda Trail Reconstruction Project is scheduled to open the roadway to traffic by the end of the day today. They have recently completed paving of the roadway and installation of pavement markings. Temporary traffic control signage has been installed with installation of permanent signage scheduled for next week, which will substantially complete the project. The contractor will return in the spring of 2024 to complete remaining restoration and punch list items.
