 Construction Update - November 17
The Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection is open to traffic. Minor items remain to be completed. Other intersections along the project corridor will periodically be closed to allow for construction activities. The contractor will maintain access to owners in the area, but delays should be anticipated during construction work.
Phase 1A, 1B, and 2 – Kingsview Lane, Niagara Lane, & Gleason Lake Drive (between Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane)
The contractor has placed the final layer of asphalt. The contractor will continue to complete minor punch list and warranty items in this area as needed.
Phase 3 - Gleason Lake Drive between Niagara Lane and Carlson Parkway
The contractor has paved the base layer of asphalt on the road. They have also started preparing driveways for pavement next week. Unlike concrete, asphalt driveways can be driven on the same day they are installed. Signs and mailboxes are anticipated to be installed around Thanksgiving or the week after.
It is anticipated the trail will be constructed in spring 2024. Additionally, some of the vegetation stabilization on this phase will likely be temporary over the winter months with permanent stabilization in spring of 2024.
