 Construction Update - October 31
Fernbrook Lane
Due to rain and cold weather, the paving progress has slowed on Fernbrook Lane. The contractor will take advantage of the warmer days this week to complete the trails, and roadway paving on Fernbrook Lane between County Road 6 and 21st Avenue. Paving should be complete by the end of the week, with signing and pavement striping to occur shortly after. Fernbrook Lane is targeted to open on November 7th.
Cornerstone Commons area
The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is mostly complete. There are only minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood
The final layer of blacktop has been installed within the neighborhood, with the exception of 18th Avenue. 18th Avenue is scheduled to be paved Wednesday, November 1, if the temperature warms up and the street dries sufficiently. There may be a few minutes delay during paving operation for vehicles while crews move past a driveway, but access will be maintained fully throughout the operations.
Once the paving is complete in the neighborhood, only minor repairs and restoration will be left to be done.
