 Construction Update - October 19
Fernbrook Lane
The final layer of blacktop will be installed on Fernbrook Lane between the DMV and 21st Avenue on October 20. The final layer of blacktop will be installed between 21st Avenue and County Road 6 will be later in the week of Oct. 23. Final signing and striping will occur shortly after.
Cornerstone Commons area
The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is mostly complete. There are only minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood
The contractor is finishing up the spot repairs of underground utilities. Paving the final layer of blacktop, in locations that have already had the top layer milled off, will occur the week of Oct. 23.
Streets in the project area that have not had the old top layer milled off yet, will have it done the week of Oct. 23, and being paved early in the week of Oct. 30.
Minnesota Lane will be paved the week of Oct. 30.
For both the milling and paving operations, there will be a few minutes delay for vehicles while crews move past a driveway, but access will be maintained fully throughout the operations.
Once the paving is complete in the neighborhood, only minor repairs and restoration will be left to be done.
