 Construction Update - October 6
Fernbrook Lane
The first layer of blacktop has been installed from 21st Avenue to County Road 6. Concrete repairs, trail, and driveway work will follow in the next week or two. The final layer of paving is scheduled for the week of October 23rd.
Cornerstone Commons area
The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is mostly complete. There are only minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood
The contractor is currently in process of spot repairs of underground utilities. Access will remain while the crews move around the neighborhood with these repairs.
Due to recent heavy rain that has caused construction delays, milling the top two inches of blacktop roadway surface for the remainder of the streets is now planned for the week of October 16th, and paving of the neighborhood is anticipated to be the week of October 23rd.
For both the milling and paving operations, there will be a few minutes delay for vehicles while crews move past a driveway, but access will be maintained fully throughout the operations.
Once the paving is complete in the neighborhood, only minor repairs and restoration will be left to be done
