Underground utility repair work is complete from 21st Avenue to County Road 6. The contractor will reclaim this section of roadway to gravel on September 30th, weather permitting, then plan to pave the first layer of blacktop on this segment later in the week of October 2nd. Concrete repairs, trail, and driveway work will follow. This segment is scheduled to be finished this fall.
Cornerstone Commons area The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is mostly complete. There are only minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood The contractor is currently in process of spot repairs of underground utilities. Access will remain while the crews move around the neighborhood with these repairs.
Milling the top two inches of blacktop roadway surface for the remainder of the streets is planned for the week of October 9th. Paving of the neighborhood is anticipated to be later during the week of October 16th or the week of October 23rd.
For both the milling and paving operations, there will be a few minutes delay for vehicles while crews move past a driveway, but access will be maintained fully throughout the operations.
Once the paving is complete in the neighborhood, only minor repairs and restoration will be left to be done.
