 Construction Update September 1
Phase 2B update – 36th Avenue
The contractor finished milling off the top of the existing pavement. Planting and restoration within the medians were complete this week. Next week on Tuesday, the contractor will patch the milled surface. Later next week, the contractor will install the final layer of pavement and stone blocks within the medians. The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
Phase 2C update – 37th Avenue
The contractor installed the first layer of pavement this week. Next week, the contractor will raise the iron in the roadway, install the bituminous trail, and then continue with restoration work. The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
