 Construction Update - August 18
Fernbrook Lane
The contractor continues to perform underground utility repair work between 21st and 25th Avenues. Paving of the first layer of blacktop on that segment is anticipated for the week of August 21st. The contractor will then work on paving the trail, and a second layer of blacktop a few days later. Once the second layer of blacktop and trail are complete, Fernbrook Lane will re-open to traffic.
Work on the segment from County Road 6 to 21st Avenue will likely begin around the Labor Day weekend.
Cornerstone Commons area
The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is mostly completed. There are only minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood
The contractor is planning to begin spot repairs of underground utilities throughout the neighborhood the week of August 21st. Access to properties will remain at all times while the crews move around the neighborhood with the repairs. Traffic delays can be expected.
