 Construction Update August 18
Phase 2B update – 36th Avenue
The contractor continued concrete installations this week, and will finish installing concrete curb and gutter, driveways, and sidewalks next week. The contractor will also patch along the newly installed curb in the road and work within the medians. The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
Phase 2C update – 37th Avenue
The contractor reclaimed (ground up) the existing asphalt pavement this week and started grading work for the new trail along the north side of the street. Next week, the contractor will install concrete curb and gutter, driveways, and sidewalks. The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
