 Construction Update - August 11
Fernbrook Lane
The contractor continues to perform underground utility repair work between 21st and 25th Avenues. Paving of the first layer of blacktop on that segment is anticipated for the week of August 21st. The contractor will then work on paving the trail, and a second layer of blacktop a few days later. Once the second layer of blacktop and trail are complete, Fernbrook Lane will fully re-open to traffic.
Work on the segment from County Road 6 to 21st Ave will likely begin around the Labor Day weekend.
Cornerstone Commons area
The Cornerstone Commons area, including Holly Lane north of Medina Road, is wrapping up the mill and overlay portion of the project the week of August 14th. This concludes the majority of the project in that area, with only small, minor items left to address.
Cimarron East neighborhood
Roadway work in the Cimarron East neighborhood will occur as early as the week of August 21st with spot repairs of underground utilities throughout the neighborhood. Access will remain at all times while the crews move around the neighborhood with the repairs. More information will be shared when available.
