 Construction Update August 4
The Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection remains closed to traffic. The posted detour includes County Road 6, Interstate 494, and Highway 12. During construction, access will be maintained for the local adjacent neighborhoods on Townes Road and Black Oaks Lane via Gleason Lake Road to the south, but access may change as construction progresses.
Additional intersections along the project corridor will be periodically closed to allow for construction activities. The contractor will maintain access to property owners who live in the project area, however, delays can be expected during construction activity.
Phase 2 - Gleason Lake Drive between Vicksburg Lane and Ranchview Lane
The contractor plans do concrete work and trail preparation the week of Aug 7th. Please avoid driving on concrete for seven days after it is poured to allow it to cure/harden.
Phase 1B - Gleason Lake Drive between Ranchview Lane and Niagara Lane
The contactor is finished with the concrete and base asphalt in this section. Sod will be installed in this section later in the summer when it is less hot, providing better conditions for vegetation establishment. The final layer of asphalt will be placed once all of the other phases are done to avoid damaging the surface while other phases are still active.

Phase 3 - Gleason Lake Drive between Niagara Lane and Carlson Parkway
The temporary waterline has passed drinking safety testing. Owners can expect to be connected to the temporary service the week of Aug 7th or Aug 14th. Utility replacement is planned for mid-late August.
