 Construction Update July 28
Phase 2B update – 36th Avenue
Work began this week with pavement removals and utility work including water valve repairs and a hydrant replacement. Next week, the contractor will begin storm sewer installation. During storm sewer construction traffic will not be able to get through 36th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane to Plymouth Blvd. However, at least one driveway access to all businesses will remain open throughout construction.
Phase 2C update – 37th Avenue
The contractor replaced a couple of hydrants this week and started pavement removals. Next week, the contractor will continue pavement removals on 37th Avenue. The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
